6 Hope:

From this GE and the lessons conducted in class, we have learnt that:

1. We must vote wisely as we are electing our government.

2. We learnt the procedures on how to vote on the polling day through the TV programe.

3. We feel that an MP must be responsible, caring, fair and respectful. These are some of the qualities and values an MP must have.

4. The "Cooling-off" day is being introduced for the first time in this GE.

As pupils of TKPS we also can contribute to our school:

1. We can be responsible in helping the school to conserve energy.

2. We must keep our school's environment clean and green.

3. We must take care of the school's properties so that everyone has an opportunity to use them.

7 May 2011 was an unique day.. GE 2011. Majority of the younger generation casted their vote for their first time.
From this GE, we learnt that:

1. We must pay close attention to the rallies before deciding casting our vote in the respective constituency.

2. Wise decison needs to be made as we are electing our government.

3. We have to learn the procedures prior to the polling day as we need to be familiarised with the procedure.

4. We feel that an MP must be responsible, caring, fair and respectful.

On the contrary, as students of TKPS, we also can contribute to our school such as:

1. Be responsible in helping the school by doing our part in conserving energy.
(i) switch off the fans and lights when we are out of the classroom.
(ii) keep the speed of the fans at 4 or temperture at 25 degree in any air conditioned rooms

2. We participate actively in the Recycling Programme.

3. Care for the elderly - giving up seats in public transports

4. Help the elderly to cross the road

5. Lead the blind when they have difficulties

6. Taking care of the school facilities such as no vandalism on school properties
