Total Defence Week '09 Reflections (P5 & P6)

P5 and P6 Reflections

Our school had an emergency exercise dated on 10th of February 2009.

The slideshow chronicles the preparedness of our school in times of crisis.

Questions to ponder:

1. How do you feel when you hear the siren? Why?

2. What are some of the areas your class did well during the emergency evacuation?

3. How can you be more prepared in a similar evacuation in the future?

4. What are some values that you observed during the TDD Sports Day?
Provide some examples you encountered.

We were pretty calm upon listening the siren as we were anticipating the emergency exercise.
We were able to listen to the announcement in the classroom before evacuating from the classroom to the quadrangle. We were glad to have our reponsible monitress who took down the attendance. everyone in the class was cooperating. We helped to take care of Yi Lin who was rather reactive to the situation. Luckily he was considered well bahaved during the exercise.
Regards the Ready Bag, we worked as a class and contributed to the content. We were upset for unabling to produce the best Ready Bag. We shall try harder in future.
Lastly, food rationing was fun. We managed to consume the biscuits in class and able to discuss why we are having such activity.

5 Honesty has this to say:

We were excited but we remained calm when we heard the siren. We waited for the announcement and lined up briskly. Our Art teacher brought us to the quadrangle and our monitor took our attendance.

Mrs Lee said that she was pleasantly surprised to see our class assembled in an orderly manner. We were all very cooperative. We also remained calm and quiet while waiting for further instructions.

We are now more prepared and ready for emergency evacuation any time.

On our Sports Day, we observed the value of resilience as we did not give up easily and not lose hope in winning for our houses. We alos learn to cooperate and work together as a team. United, we will stand.

When we heard the siren, everyone of us remained calm and listened to the announcement made by Mr Wong. We continued to remain calm and followed every instruction readily although we were quite worried about the harm that the fire could cause. We proceeded to blk 609 in a fast and orderly manner.

We should always be vigilant during any emergency and we think that the emergency evacuation has prepared us well.

During the TDD Sports Day, we learnt to persevere when we built the card tower in the Pentathlon event as it needs a lot of patience and requires a great deal of teamwork. In the other games for example, soccer, we learn to work well in teams to achieve our goal. We felt angry when we lost to another team in the first round but during the second round, we persevered and managed to overcome the odds and won the game.

When I heard the siren, I was not alarmed as I am sure of what I should do during an emergency.

I think my class took a very short time to go to the quadrangle. We were also very orderly when we were crossing the road.

I think that we can try to be quieter when we were going to the quadrangle as we were quite noisy.

During the TDD Sports Day, I learnt how to respect people and have more teamwork with my teamates. We shook hands after the game and the strategies we used went on smoothly.

When i heard the siren , i felt nervous because the siren was different from last year's.I was not sure if it was a real fire happening in our school or just a fire drill.

I think we did well as we followed the instructions and we moved orderly as a class. We did not make a mess of ourselves outside the school. We could be more calm and be less noisy when we were settling at the void deck.

During the TDD Sports Day, we learnt to work with other pupils even though we did not know many of them.We were having problems such as being distracted by our group members but we worked hard so we managed to win the game

When I heard the siren, I was not alarmed as I am sure of what I should do during an emergency.I also knew that there was going to be a fire drill on that day.

During the TDD sports day,my team and I won the first and we lost the second because somebody cheated.Even though we lost, they are losers because they cheated and we are the true winners in our hearts. We have learnt that having integrity is more important than winning.

WWhen i heard the siren,i remained calm and i listened intently to what mr.wong is speaking.

Although I did not know whether it was a fire exercise or was it a real fire , I still remained calm.

I followed all of my teacher and walked swiftly and orderly to the quardrangle.

Although it was just an exercise< everbody in my class took it seriously.

During the TTD sports day,i learnt to respect my opponents even though I did not know who they were.we learnt to play together and to presevere to the end

I was shock as i heard the siren as there might be a real fire in school. Nevertheless,i remained calm.My teacher felt annoyed as she was teaching Maths at that time. But she still told us to line up and walked to the quadrangle. After that,we evacuated out of the school and assemble at block 609's void deck. After an hour or two,we went back to the school. We felt relieve as it was a false fire, but we had learnt that in case of a fire,we had to act fast and not to panick.

When I heard the siren,I was not shocked as I already knew that I was only a drill. The class went down the stairs and assembled at the quadrangle.
We then walked out of the school and to the void deck of BLK 609.We had to wait for about 45 minutes before we could go back to class.
We then went back to class and had our ordinary recesses.
Sports day was very exciting.Everybody who participated sweated profusely until their face were red as they were playing in the hot Sun(except the modified-volleyball teams, the were playing in the hall). As for me,I played floorball. The games were competitive. The results for which house had the most points have not been announced yet.I hope lions win because...LION's RULE!!

When we heard the siren, we knew the fire might have broken out somewhere in school. But all of us were calm.We listened intently to what Mr.Wong announced through the PA system.
My class took a very short time to go to the quadrangle. We were also walking orderly when we were crossing the road.
May be for the next time,
our class should try to be quieter when we assemble in the quadrangle.

During the TDD Sports Day,I was having fun. But at the same time, i had learnt that team work in games is important.

I feel alarm but calm as it was not the first time I have an drill and we have been told we will have an drill this week.
My class have line up in an orderly manner which sometimes we would have some problems and I think we did well this time.
I think next time we should be more calm and quieter as we did took some time to quiet down.
During TDD Sports Day,I learnt how to cooperate and persevere when I took part an event and went for trainings.

When I heard the siren ,I was not alarmed , as I knew what to do during an emergency, I thought my class moved quickly and in an orderly manner.Soon we were at BLK
609. After waiting for about 45 minutes, we went back to the school .
During sports day , I competed in floorball . I had to competed with my friends, but I still tried my best , trying to win them . In the end I managed to score a few goals for my team.

I stayed calm when I heard the siren as I knew that there was nothing to worry about.
I observed that my class had treat this evacuaiton seriously as we moved orderly and fast. I think we can do better by reducing gethering time.
From this TDD sports day, I learned how diffcult it was during Janpanese occupiation and how fortune we are. We should treasure what we have today.

I don't feel alarmed because I had been through a few fire drills before. Our class had moved quickly and orderly. I think we should be more quieter when we were going down. I had observed some important values during the sports day like teamwork and resilience.
I was in the Lions' floorball team, although we lost to the Eagles in the first round, we hanged on and we won against the Sharks in the second round[we mainly won because they were chosen at the last minute]. In the third round, we played against the Cobras and the score was 0-0. We had had ball of a time and I wish that the teachers can hold a floorball competition at the end of the year.

When the fire alarm went off,I was ready even though i knew it was a fire drill.I took it seriously as though a real fire broke out.We stopped what we were doing and waited for the annocement that told us were the fire broke out.
We immediately left the school compounds and moved orderly to assemble under Block 609.I think we did well for it was the first time we needed to leave the school compound for a fire drill.

During Sports day,I was nervous and excited because it was the first time I built a card tower, but in the end it went well.

Anonymous said...

When I heard the fire drill, I panicked. But during assembly on Monday, Mr. Rodger Chua told us that when an emergency happens, we are not to panic but to remain calm.

So I did just that for the whole exercise and I saw many people wondering whether it was an exercise or a real fire. With that in their minds, they took the fire drill seriously.

And I also finally knew why we commemorate Total Defence
Day which is to remember our ancestors and families who sufferred during the war. So Total Defence Dat is a day which Singapore fell to the Japanese in 1942.

During the TDD Sports Day, I learnt how to cooperate with my teammates and to respect other peoples' decision.

My team won every match because of one little thing, Teamwork. Wthout any teamwork, my teammates and I would never win. Take other houses for example, One of the houses who challenged my team never had teamwork. And we won...

So I finally knew that teamwork is a little thing that can make a difference.

I think we should be alert and vigilant at all times...i also think that we can improve on the noise level as the quadrangle was noisy...
During sports day,our shark team did quite well.Erm...At least we all tried our best...I also observed several values during the games such as integrity and resilence...

When I heard the alarm, I did not feel alarmed and I remained calm..That was because at one of the assembly, Mr Razali told us about emergency evacuation and other emergencies and there was a big yellow poster saying that there will be an emergency evacuation during 8.00 - 10.00 a.m. Though for the last five years I had not experience it before..

Our class listened to the announcement and went down briskly. We also crossed the road orderly and when we went under the blocks of flat.

We could have gone down quietly as we were quite noisy at some point of time. That was the part we should really work on.

During TDD sports day, I did not play so I just watched them play. they played well with resillience.

When I heard the siren, I did not feel alarmed and neither did I panic. That was because I already knew what to do during an emergency or a drill. In this case, an emergency evacuation.

The class moved swiftly and quietly across the road and below Blk 609. But when we sat down, we were a little bit noisy. That was one part of the evacuation I think we can work on.

*Hahh* Now I want to say something about the TDD Sports Day! It is a good chance to make new friends among your competitors, and I also learnt that teamwork is very important among team mates. We played the sport fair and square and it ended on a happy note!

I was calm when the I heard the siren,as I know that a fire might have broken out. After hearing the anouncement made by our Mr Wong,we quickly and in a orderly mannerly went to the quadrangle .As the fire was really BIG,Mr Razali told us to evacuated to the Blk 609.After an hour at the Blk 609 ,Ms Nura told us that we could go back.
From this emergency exercise,we learnt to operate with one another and know what to do when fire arise.

When I heard the siren, I did not feel in the least alarmed because I knew that it was just an emergency exercise. Still, we treated it very seriously and did not make a fool out of ourselves. We listened to the announcement and quicky moved to block 609 to assemble without hesitation.
During the Sports day, we learnt we should be tolerant even if our opponent did not play fair. All in all, the Sports day was a fun and enriching experience for us students.

I did not feel scared because I already knew that it was only a drill. It was written outside our school.
The siren started on that day and we remained calm.We heard the annoucement from Mr Wong and knew that the canteen caught fire.We walked to the quadrangle briskly and waited there. At the quadrangle, the class monitor took our attendance. When all of us were at the quadrangle,we went to block609 which was outside our school. When the teachers said we can go back class,we lined up and when back to our class quietly.
On 13th of February,we have our sports day.I took part in the floorball.I am in eagle house team.We won all the teams and came in first in floorball.

Anonymous said...

I did not feel afraid because i already know that day there is a fire drill as it was written outside of our school.
when the siren sounded,we did not panic and stay calmed to listen to the annoucement. After listened to the annoucement,we quickly and quietly line-up outside of our classroom and we went to the quadrangle without a noise.then we went outside the school to evacuate from the 'fire'.
in the future, when we met fire,we can take our ready bag and run out of the buildings.
on 13.2.09,we have our p5 and 6 sports day.During that day,I felt very excited as i took part in the captain ball game.I observed that when people lost in a game, they would complain that the other teams cheated and I think that it is not a fair thing to do because we must have sportmanship not everyday keep complaining about they cheating and we must try to work hard the nextime we play.

Anonymous said...

I don't feel too afraid when I heard the siren as I was alarmed because Mr Razali had mentioned earlier. Our class moves quickly and in an orderly manner to the quadrangle and to Blk 609 next to our school.

We can stay calm, be more cooperative and self-prepared whenever we have an evaccuation.

During the TDD Sports Day,when I was observing the players playing games, I saw a few teams was about to lose but yet, they did not give up.They continued to play until they won their opponent. This teaches me to be resilience in anyway even though we are losing.

Anonymous said...

When I heard the siren,I remained calm and wait for further instructions. We were supposed to assembled at the Quandrangle because the canteen was on fire. We then proceeded to blk 609 in an orderly manner. After the emergency exercise was over, we proceeded back to class and our teacher praised us as we moved from place to place fast and quietly. I think that everyone of us had done a good job in this emergency exercise. In this evacuation exercise,I've learned that we should treat every emergency exercise seriously and we MUST remain calm.

When I heard the siren,I was calmed and I'm not really scared as i know what to do.Our class went down to the quadrangle swiftly.
I think the part that our class did well was when we was lining up quietly and moving to the quadrangle swiftly.

We should not only be vigilant during the similar evacuation, but on every kind of evacuation as to be more prepared.

On the TDD Sports Day,I played captain's ball.Although my team lose one match,we were also having fun.I learnt that eventhough we lose a game,I could not scold our opponent as this is ruled. The value that i leant was:Respect, resilience.

When i heard the siren, i was very calm and not alarmed. I knew that panicking was no use so i waited to hear for Mr Wong's instructions...
My class did quite well as when we went down the stairs, we were quite orderly and quick but when we were waiting for news to go back to class at the HDB flat, we were very noisy....
After we waited for about one and a half hour, i was glad that we could go back to class. This incident taught me what to do when there is a real fire in school so i will not panick and will follow instuctions clearly as i had done this before... It will ne worse if the school did not held a fire drill....
As i watched people play captain's ball, i noticed that they cooperate alot and that they were trying to score as much point as possible for their team... But after the match was over, i saw many shook hands with each other and i understood that they enjoyed their game and had fun, even though i never took part in the sports day which is my last sports day in this school, but i had little fun in watching them too... ^^

When I heard the siren I felt scared but I knew I had to be calm or my whole class would be in a chaos, so I calmed down and started lining up outside the class and moved swiftly to the quadrangle.
Our class moved very fast and quiet when we were moving to the quadrangle in the emergency evacuation.
I think we should be more quiet as we were quite noisy when we were outside the school.
At Thursday when we had the food rationing event,I experience what the poor ate and although they looked not really nice, they tasted great! On Friday we had our Sports Day and my team was in captain ball and we cooperated very well.
I leant alot through the whole week .

I was not alarm when I heard the siren as we were taught what to do during emergencies. After the siren went off,Mr Wong made an announcement about a fire at the canteen.

We went to the quadrangle and later proceeded to block 609.We were very fast and oderly while walking out of school.

I think as a class we have to improve in our noise level as we were quite noisy despite being warned many times to keep quiet.

During th TDD Sports Day, I learnt that we should not give up and try our best in doing want we want to.I also learnt that we must always have teamwork.

I was calm and waited for instructions.I took the drill seriously even though Mr.Wong had already told us it was a drill.

My class was neat and orderly during the evacuation and was relatively quiet.

My class can be quiter so that we can hear the announecments clearly.

I saw the resilience in the Cobra house Captain's ball team as even though they were losing, they still played and had fun,as that was the point of Sports day,not the winning.

I did not feel afraid as I knew that there will be a fire drill that day.
when the siren sounded,we stayed calm and tried not to be noisy. After we heard the announcement, our teacher brought us to the quadrangle. We remained quiet when we reached the quadrangle, the monitor took the attendance.i think that we can try to be less noisy so that we can listen to what the teachers are saying.
during the TDD sports day,I learnt to respect my opponents and not to get angry when we lost.

When the alarm rang, our class was not in the least flustered or worried. Following the annoucement, we swiftly went out of the classroom to the quadrangle in two lines. The class monitors and teacher took our attendance very quickly.
About 5 minutes later, we were dispatched level by level to a nearby block. When crossing the road to the other block, we were fast and orderly. Soon, all the levels were at Block 609.

I think that we could be slightly quieter as we were pretty excited at the void deck. It was a public area and there were many passerby's.

During the TDD Sports Day, i participated in volleyball. My team won every match but could not say the same for the other teams. Nevertheless, all of us had a very fun time. Through the TDD Sports Day, I learnt harmony, kindness, respect and responsibility.

Harmony because we had to learn how to curb our temper.

Respect and kindness as we had to care for each other.

Responsibility as we had to observr a player's integrity.

Miss Nura was quite angry as she was explaining a Maths problem sums to us half-way when the siren rang. Upon seeing her angry face, we laughed. But we remained calm after that and waited for Mr Wong to make the announcement. After knowing that the canteen was on fire, and we needed to assembly in the quadrangle, we quickly and quietly lined up outside the classroom and proceeded to the quadrangle. Due to the "fire" getting bigger, we have to proceed to BLK 609. This is the first time we need to assembly out of school, so I am not sure if this is real or not. Plus,we saw a Civil Defence van near BLK 609. But actually it was an uncle who fell down, so it has nothing to do with the fire drill.
After this exercise I have learnt that we have to be vigilant at all times.

When I heard the siren, I was pretty calm. Most of my classmates also stopped talking and waited for the announcement given by Mr Wong over the PA system.
After listening quietly to the announcement, our class lined up orderly and immediately proceeded to the quadrangle.
After the fire drill was over, I felt that I have learnt how to act efficiently and be prepared for the next evacuation.
I observed resilience during the Sports Day when we were playing floorball. Although the other teams were losing, they continued playing valiantly and didn't give up. I also observed integrity as no one cheated during the games.

When i heard the siren, i remained calm. Everyone in the class stopped talking too. We waited for the announcement patiently in the classroom. After we heard the announcement by Mr Wong, our class lined up outside quickly and went to assemble.
I think my class did well because they were very quiet and quick during the evacuation excercise.
I felt more prepared for emergency evacuations in the future.
Although i was not in the team, i could see that the players were very resilient. I saw teamwork too. I felt proud for them when they won.

when I heard the fire alarm, I remained calm as we were already brief on moday morning.
we waited for the announcement and then proceed to the quadrangle, we were then told to proceed to a nearby block,609 and our class cross the road orderly.we stay there for about 1 hour ,but i think we could be quieter as we were quite noisy.I think that we should take the exercise seroiusly as we will know what to do when an emergency happen.

When the siren was heard,my classmates remained calm until Mr Wong made the further announcement.
I was shocked actually,as the whole class was discussing one of the math sum when the alarm went off.I was not really well perpared eventhough Mr Roger Chua had just gone through with us on Monday asssembly.
I think my class did well, they line up in an orderly manner and get ready in a short period of time. They treated it seriously although all of us knew it eariler that it was only a drill.
I think we can improve on the volume, we can be quieter and get ready faster as no one know when emergency can happen .It can happen at anytime , anywhere so we must be alert at all the time.
During the TDD Sports Day,i learnt how to work with another in order to achieve our goal.

At that moment,me and my friends were doing maths problem sums. When I heard the alarm,I was quite scared because it was quiet in the class but I remained calm and steady. We waited patiently for Mr Wong to make an announcement and lined up quietly.

I think that my friends have done well because they assembled quickly and orderly. They also kept quiet and waited patiently for the class monitor to take their attendance.

I think that we should not compain about tired during a emergency because a wrong move may cause us our life.

I took part in the Pentathlon.I was in the Eagles P6 Team 1.Each team consists of 5 members. We had shoot,cross-jumping,tumbling tower, transferring of marbles and building the highest tower using cards.I observed integrity, resilience and teamwork.

Integrity when playing tumbling tower and counting the number of blocks removed. If not for our integrity,we will not have a happy victory.

Resilience and endurance when doing cross-jumping.We might not succeed without encouragement.

Teamwork in all activities and stations. If not,we will not be able to accomplish our tasks.

Every value makes its own difference...

After that, our class followed Mr Wong's instructions and went to the Quadrangle in a very quickly together with Ms Nura. I could see the billows of smoke around the canteen.
After our class monitors had taken the attendance of our class, we were being ordered to move out of the school to the void deck of Blk 609.Our class had did well moving out of the school in an orderly manner.
I think we can be a bit quieter next time as we were very noisy and made the teachers shout in the public place.
Although I did not join any activity during the TDD Sports day, but I could see the team work of my friends. Like confronting one another when lose to other teams. And cheer themselves when they won.

The area that my class did well was that they stayed calm when they heard the siren and they did not panicked.

I think that our class could improved by being quieter as we were very noisy when we were evacuating.

I observed that they require a great deal of teamwork in order to
acheive the goals when I saw the people that were playing soccer. I also saw how the floor ball players managed to score a goal when they were playing. They had used lots of teamwork and they preserve until the end of the game even though they knew that they had no chances to win.

I was alarmed by the sudden wailing of the siren but stayed calm as I knew that the first thing to do is to stay calm and wait for the announcement made by Mr Wong.Everyone was very serious and waited patiently for the announcement as we were informed of what to do by our form teacher.

After we heard the announcement, everyone got into line quickly and remained calm and orderly when walking down to the quadrangle. We were very cooperative when the class monitor was marking our attendance when we were at the quadrangle waiting for further instructions. Then, everyone was evacuated to a nearby block of flats and waitedfor the "fire" to be put out.

I think that we could do better in our noise as the volume was too loud as the teachers needed to shout at us to control our noise level.

I learnt that we should have teamwork when playing these games as it requires multiple players and if we did not cooperate, problems may occur and this would cause us to lose the game.

6Peace said,
We were surprised to hear the siren suddenly. We were worried. It was an emergency. What was it?

We responded as calmly as possible. We moved quickly and assembled at the quadrangle. We did as we were told. We sat quietly and patiently at the void deck. We treated the evacuation exercise very seriously.

We should have a ready bag for any emergency.

We observed teamwork and resilience as we played the games. In soccer for example, it was important to work as a team. Someof us are team leaders. We learnt to lead our teams. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves during TDD Sports Day.

1)I felt very suprised and ready as we were told about the evacuation.I felt very suprised because it happen quite early.
2)The areas that my class did well was when after Mr Wong made the anouncment,my class straight away knew what to do and how.Under the block,my class was also quiet and listen to instructions carefully.
3)I can be more prepared by acting faster and doing the instructions faster.
4)What values i learned during TDD sports day was RESILIENCE because no matter how good their opponent was, they did not give up and tried harder. There was also some INTEGRITY because lets say during CAPTAIN BALL nobody was looking and the ball went out, somebody owned up and said that the ball went out.

4)One of the values that I learnt is RESILIENCE.Some examples are we should eat the food that is given which is the food eaten by the poor people. We should not throw it.We should feel the condition at the poor people country.

I feel calm when i heard hear the alarm & I know that we should follow the announcement & not to be panic.....
We follow the teachers to exist the school area.
I felt that we could done better if we leave the school orderly.
I find resilence in the sport day as i saw some pupil lose in their sport game, they continued their games till the end.....

1.We panicked at first, but we tried to remember what the teachers told us what we have to do when we hear the siren.

2.We kept calm and quiet, and we waited for our principal to tell us what we had to do and where we should assemble.

3.Teamwork.
We need to work together as a team.

When I heard the siren, I remained calm and wait for further instructions. I did that because i think that we should stay calm during emergency in order to evacuate safely to the safe place.

The area that my class did well was that they stayed calm when they heard the siren and they did not panicked.

I think that our class could improved by being quieter as we were very noisy when we were evacuating.

When I heard the siren,I felt shocked because it happened too early in the morning.

My classmate behaved themselves when they are lining up.

I can be more prepared by preparing the ready bag.

I heard the alarm rang and remained calm.. There's no point being panic. It'll make things more worse. So, our class listened to the instructions given and followed.
We were ask to assemble in the parade square, than we headed to the blocks of flat.
We were noisy when we had to assemble at the blocks of flats, and I think we should improve on that..
During sports day, I was in the pentathlon team. And it was tough. Though, I never gave up.Giving up doesn't solve anything. No matter what, Eagles tried their best and... GO EAGLES !!!:)

When I haerd the siren everyone in my class remained calm.
We were asked to assemble at the parade square and headed for block 609 to assemble at.
All the p6s started making noise. It was so noisy that we could barely hear what Mdm Siti was announcing.
At approximately,1 hour we headed back to class and continued our lesson.
During the TDD Sports Day I was quite overwhelmed as this could be my last here in TKPS and the last time I would take part in the TDD Sports Day.I was in the Captain's ball team. The first round against the basketballers was quit tough,score:6-5,we lose. The second round was not that tough but there were 3 basketballers in the team.In the end the score was:5-11(we won):)
Afterall I enjoyed all of the events that had takne place that day.

I was shock to hear the evacuation alarm as it was the first time i heard this alarm. It was very different from the others that we heard the last few years and i was very scared that there were will be accident as this is the first time we went out of the school. But i was very calm as the teacher told us to stop the things that we were doing and wait for further instruction.but as we were proceeding down to get together with the other class,it was very noisy as everybody was rushing. But at the end of the evacuatuion exercise went very smoothly.

When I heard the siren, the whole class(6 Hope) include me remains calm and waiting paitenly for our school princeple,Mr Wong to make accouncement regarding the evacuation.
After hearing the accouncements,we as a whole class rushed down towards the place to assemble.I was really surprised that we assembled at the void deck of the neraby neighbourhood as it was a first time we assemble over there.
To me,I think that every evacuation or other things we do, we must treat it seriously.

I felt very secared when I heard the fire alarm. It takes me sometime to realise that it was a real fire happening or just a fire drill, but it really scared me.

When I was doing my work when a fire alarm had suddenly rung,I was shocked to hear that.

When I heard the siren,I felt scared and worried. Our class went out to line up.We were all anxious and none of us were playing at all.
We assemble at the Quarangle as quickly as possible.Walking out of the school,we behaved well.We assemble at the void deck. Some of us were quiet, while others were noisy. After the teachers were checking the classes attendances,we were ready to leave. When we returned to our class,Mr Wong said over the speaker that we have done a good job.I feit proud of myself and that I learned a very important lesson that day.

We were scared at first but we tried to remain calm. When we heard the siren our class became quite noisy. Our class waited for further instruction that was given through the PA system..

Our class lined up outside quickly. There were 2- 3 classes at stuck at then staircase. So, we made a u-turn and took another staircase nearby..

When we were at the quadrangle.. Mr Wong or Mr Rodger Chua said that we were going to evacuate at the nearby block..First we thought it were a fun thing to evacuate outside school.. But whatever it is we realised that even its a drill or a real emergency we must take it seriously..

When I heard the siren,I felt panic because I thought there was a real fire.
I think that my friends have done well because they assembled quickly and orderly. They also kept quiet and waited patiently for the class monitor to take their attendance.
I will tell my family to stay calm and walk quickly to a safer place.
We must be resilent or else we will not acheive your goal.
