Total Defence - it's for everyone. For me, I would make sure I stock up my First Aid Box. And ensure that I have essential food items at home, just in case there is an emergency. And of course, support the men in the family who serve their NS. Most importantly, to believe that I can contribute to my country in every little way...
For me, I have the job to educate the pupils to appreciate in being a Singaporean. They must know the importance of cooperation and working in togetherness.
For me, I learn to appreciate the importance of how Total Defence aid in ensuring the peace our country is enjoying now. I feel that we should never take our peace for granted and we must always be ready for emergencies.
